StreetTread Term 4 Newsletter 2015

Dear parents and students,

May I start by thanking you so much for another fantastic term at StreetTread Dance Studios! You should all be so proud of how hard you have worked and how much you have grown. I simply cannot express just how impressed I am with the quality and dedication you have all shown and I hope you’ve enjoyed yourselves as much as I have.  We have many more exciting opportunities coming up in Term 4 and we are quickly heading towards the end of the year. Here’s a peek at what lies ahead.

StreetTread Presents ‘Street Jam’ End of Year Performance

StreetTread has grown bigger and better than we could have imagined this year. As I said, your skills have improved so much, it’s only fair you have a chance to show it off to your friends and family.

We realise the end of year can be a crazy time so we want to make this as an optional performance for students, and it will be a fun and relaxing night for those who wish to take part.

Save the Date – Saturday November the 28th from 6pm.

Want to be involved? See the attached permission form, complete your details and return the slip back to us by Friday, October 16th.

Updates to the Timetable for Term 4

There are a few changes to the timetable for next term with the addition of new classes to accommodate our growing numbers. Some Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday times have been adjusted.  Please be sure to check the timetable for any changes as this may affect your class/es. View our new timetable by going to http://www.streettread.com/timetable/

Morningside & Bulimba Festivals

Our StreetTread Performance Crew hit the streets at the Morningside Festival in July for a Street Parade and live entertainment. They wowed the crowd with their unreal skills, energy, and style, and we even managed to end up featured in the South East Advertiser’s social page.

Next term, the Performance Crew will be kept busy representing StreetTread at the Bulimba Festival. This year is set to be bigger than ever and we will be involved in a number of events over the course of the week from Monday November the 9th to Sunday the 15th. Keep your eyes on our Facebook Page for details and be sure to come along and support the crew.

PJ Party Laura

StreetTread PJ Party

We had a ball at our PJ Party last Friday night! There was music, plenty of dancing, games and then we wound down with a movie and munchies. Thanks to everybody who came along and made the night such a success. Everyone was incredibly well behaved and we look forward to doing it again next year. Check out our Facebook Page to see what we got up to.

Have a well-deserved break and we’ll see you all again then,

Michelle, Rachel & Shani xx
